Introducing Nionx Cloud
Secrets for your projects and your AI agents, without .env files. Now in closed beta.

Most projects still keep their API keys in .env files. They get copied between laptops, pasted into chats, committed by accident, and handed to AI coding agents that can read every file in the folder. Nionx Cloud is our answer: the secrets live in one encrypted place, and your app reads them when it starts.
What you can do today
- Create workspaces and projects, each with development, staging and production environments (and your own).
- Store secrets. Values are encrypted before they're saved and are never shown again in the dashboard, not even to you.
- Roll a secret back to an earlier version in one click when a bad value breaks something.
- Let apps, CI and servers read one environment's secrets with a read-only API token.
- Invite teammates with roles: owner, admin, developer and viewer.
- See every change and every read in the audit log.
Built for AI agents too
AI coding tools are great at wiring things up, and terrible places to keep secrets. With Nionx, an agent only needs to know the names of the secrets a project uses. You type the values on a trusted page; the agent never sees them. The dashboard home has a one-click setup prompt you can paste into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Grok.
A closed beta
Nionx Cloud is invite-only for now, and it's free. Please use it for testing, not for real projects or live production secrets yet. If you'd like to try it, join the waitlist.
